We are delighted to come up with this issue of Current Indian Eye Research amidst the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic. It was a challenge which was successfully overcome with the help from authors, peer reviewers and support staff of the journal. I express my sincere gratitude to them all.
In this issue we publish an interesting discussion on outreach eye care activities during this new normal situation.

This issue has a balanced presentation from both segments of Ophthalmology.

Cost and efficacy are two important considerations in the treatment of choroidal neovascularization. In this issue we publish an article, first of its kind, on comparison between Ranibizumab innovator and its biosimilar in choroidal neovascularization in real world scenario.

Readers will also find interesting reads in the outcome of therapeutic keratoplasty, surgically induced astigmatism, hyper-reflective focus in central serous chorioretinopathy.
