We are happy to come up with the June Issue of our Journal “Current Indian Eye Research”. This issue has a bouquet of two interesting case reports. Dr. Dutta et al has presented with effects of bee sting injury on cornea. Dr. Gupta has presented with congenital gusto lacrimal reflex with trigeminal neuropathy. Diabetes is slowly becoming a modern day epidemic specially in our part of the world. Dr. Mishra has come up with an interesting article where she has tried to establish the prevalence of diabetic retinopathy and its association with different clinical and biochemical variables in newly diagnosed patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus. Multiple myeloma patients are a significant proportion in most Haematology Clinics. Dr. Sen et al presented an article where they have tried to document ophthalmic manifestations among myeloma patients. Progressive myopia is an important cause of ocular morbidity in modern era. Dr. Ghosh et al has presented with an interesting topic where they have tried to establish a link between progressive myopia and advancement of M.B.B.S curriculam. The topic of ocular surface malignancy is gaining popularity among ocular oncologists. Dr. Das et al has written a review article on OSSN. The topic is elaborately discussed with greater emphasis on modern advancements.
